Who runs this: भारत GeoQuiz is a product operated by SenseAI Labs, the trading name of Mucheli Pankaja (a Sole Proprietorship based in India). Under Indian law a sole proprietorship has no separate legal personality from the proprietor — for all KYC, merchant-of-record, and statutory purposes the legal name is Mucheli Pankaja. We are the data controller for personal data processed by this service (per India\'s DPDP Act 2023) and the merchant-of-record for all paid subscriptions, processed via Razorpay. In these Terms, "भारत GeoQuiz", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Mucheli Pankaja trading as SenseAI Labs.
भारत GeoQuiz is an educational web app for studying NCERT social studies (History + Geography, Class 6–12) and UPSC Civil Services core topics through map-anchored flashcards. Use of the service constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
Under India's DPDP Act 2023, accounts on भारत GeoQuiz are restricted to users 18 years or older. You must affirm 18+ at sign-up. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. One person, one account. Don't share or resell access.
If you're under 18, you can still use the entire NCERT catalogue + all free content without an account — progress is saved locally in your browser. See the Privacy Policy for details.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Facts. Underlying historical + geographic facts — names of rivers, dams, national parks, mountain passes, UNESCO sites, state capitals, NCERT chapter content, etc. — are not copyrightable; they are public information drawn from NCERT textbooks (Class 6–12), the UPSC Civil Services syllabus, Survey of India publications, and other public-domain sources. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by NCERT or UPSC; we just curate facts from their syllabi.
Our editorial work. The specific selection of items per topic, the wording of each question + answer, the topic groupings, the icons / colours / visual design, and the source code of this app are © भारत GeoQuiz. You may use the app to study; you may not bulk-copy the question bank, scrape the topic catalogue, or republish our wording elsewhere without permission.
Your data. Your personal quiz history, mastery scores, streak, + any custom settings are yours — we just store them for you. You can request a JSON export or full deletion any time (see Privacy Policy → Your rights).
Errors. If you spot a factual mistake or wording issue, email us. Reports are read + folded into future updates as the community grows.

A human editor directs the topic taxonomy, defines structure, reviews samples, + ships the final catalog; Claude generates the prose + fills in factual details from its training on public educational sources.
The catalog is our best approximation of factual knowledge synthesised from those public sources. It is NOT an authoritative reproduction of any single textbook, + it is NOT primary research. AI-generated content can occasionally state a date with one digit off, conflate two similar entities, reflect outdated information, or frame a fact slightly differently from your specific textbook edition.
How to use this responsibly. भारत GeoQuiz is intended as a study aid — useful for spaced-repetition memorisation, geographic orientation, and revision sweeps. For high-stakes use (UPSC mains, board final exams, official applications), please cross-check critical facts against your official NCERT textbook + the latest UPSC syllabus + primary government sources. We aim for high uptime but the service is provided "as is". Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Firebase / Google), or unexpected bugs may make the app temporarily unavailable. We don't owe refunds for downtime.
Most of the catalog is free — including the full NCERT Class 6–12 History + Geography syllabus + the thematic deep-dives (caves, trade routes, naval history, temples, pilgrim circuits). A Pro subscription unlocks UPSC-focused content. The free tier will become ad-supported; we'll surface this change in-app before turning ads on, + the Pro plan will remain ad-free. Ads will be served by a third-party network (Google AdSense or similar); their content is not endorsed by us. Report any inappropriate ad to support@bharatgeoquiz.com.
You can delete your account any time (see Privacy Policy → Your rights). We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; we'll usually email you first unless the violation is severe.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, भारत GeoQuiz is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period (or ₹0 for free users).
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka unless local consumer-protection laws say otherwise.
We may update these terms; material changes will be flagged in-app. Continued use after a change counts as acceptance.
